Favorite Videos of 2015: Day 5: IT'S JUST A PRANK BRO

Hey look, another one! GET USED TO IT FOR ANOTHER 25 DAYS. If you missed the last one, it's right here.
Today's video is IT'S JUST A PRANK BRO by TVFilthyFrank.
God help us all.

Filthy Frank is a polarizing channel, and not like in the case of TomSka. He constructs social criticism, but the framework of Frank's is purposefully exaggerated to a point where it loses logical meaning and devolves into chaos. Instead of embracing rationality it becomes purposefully convoluted and mocks the point that it puts the false semblance of trying to support. As such, he exists to be purposefully obnoxious, leaning towards the grotesque, and the fact that he puts himself so far out there and isn't afraid to act like an idiot in front of the confused passerby (yes, I had to look it up. It's in the plural.)
In the case of this video, he mocks the idea of completely over-the-top "pranks" by proclaiming that the lack of rational and sadistic nature of them can be remedied through saying "It's just a prank, bro!"
What follows is a series of bizarre interactions with the great people of New York, with each 'prank' being plastered with "PRANK'D" and Frank all over the screen to make it even more insane.
The best parts are his interactions with JonTron and h3h3Productions; in the latter, he storms into Ethan's house for leaving him, leading to a strange argument over Olive Garden.
The former with JonTron is hilarious in the sense that it seems almost genuine. It kind of confuses me in the sense that Jon never acknowledged the video and, instead of showcasing his "loud" attitude, acts almost confused. It's really hard to describe, but it looks so underplayed that it seems almost as if the stars aligned and it was solely by chance, even though that's definitely not the case.
For some reason the video made me laugh harder than most other things I've seen. It's so outlandish and almost absurdist in the way that it presents itself, as with all of Frank's other videos. It's really just a guilty pleasure for me, something I seldom would like to admit to watching but can't stop.
